Who needs it ?

Phosphorus forms and maintains the structure of bones and teeth, necessary for the production of milk for nursing mothers , forms muscle tissue , is a component of DNA and RNA , maintains the body's alkaline and acid balance , participates in metabolism and energy production.

 

Signs of deficiency

Rare, since almost all products contain phosphorus. Deficiency can only occur after prolonged use of antacids (antacids) or after bone fractures . The deficiency leads to general muscle weakness , bone pain , lack of appetite , rickets and osteomalacia (softening of the bones).

Toxicity

Unknown , but with calcium deficiency and phosphorus deficiency at the same time , there may be increased muscle irritability, cramps and convulsions.
