Alzheimer's and dementia

Similar to most cases of degenerative diseases, the main cause of Alzheimer's dementia is malnutrition and an incorrect lifestyle. Brain damage in dementia is caused by inflammatory processes that are caused by the toxic effects of oxidants, increased blood sugar, increased cortisol, increased concentration of homocysteine and exposure to toxin metals (aluminum, copper, mercury). Very small amounts of mercury can damage nerve tissue in the same way as in Alzheimer's disease.
One of the best markers of future dementia or Alzheimer's disease is the concentration of homocysteine in the blood serum. High levels of vitamin B6 (100mg), vitamin B12 ( 100 mcg) and folic acid (800 mcg) should be taken. These supplements will help reduce the amount of homocysteine in your blood.

Dietary advice
Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables (it is necessary to mix together vegetables and berries of different colors, for example, blueberries, beets, carrots, yellow pepper and green vegetables), eat seeds and fish rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E, such as mackerel, salmon and tuna. Eat natural food, do not consume refined foods: sugar, alcohol, fried food, avoid smoking.
